The Effects of Optygen HP on Cyclists
Cycling requires aerobic endurance, strength, balance, coordination and power. A balanced diet, training, dedication and the proper nutritional supplementation can maximize your skill level in the sport. Several supplements are on the market, but one in particular, Optygen HP, claims to offer the most benefits to athletes.
This product is made by First Endurance, a company dedicated to making quality fitness supplements with real benefits. Take four capsules daily with a meal – with breakfast is best. Some users experience tingling and/or itching during the first week. Split up your doses into morning and night to reduce this side effect. One bottle contains one month worth of servings. The gel capsules are colored dark red to protect against ultraviolet light. The bottle is dark blue glass which also helps protect the ingredients from UV breakdown.
According to the Optygen HP website, the supplement contains chromium, Rhodiola extract, Cordyceps CS-4, beta-alanine and the ATProTM Matrix (which is calcium pyruvate, sodium phosphate, potassium phosphate, ribose and adenosine). Cordyceps is derived from fungus and Rhodiola comes from flowers. Beta-alanine is an amino acid. None of the ingredients is on any banned-ingredients lists. Optygen HP is stimulant-free and safe to use in sporting events which are governed by the WADA, the USADA and the UCI.
Optygen HP claims to improve training and recovery as well as performance on race days. The combined ingredients reduce lactic acid build-up, increase your endurance, your strength and VO2 max. In addition, use of this product will increase your anaerobic threshold and improve your capacity for exercise. Continued use of the product will increase its benefits. You will start to notice effects approximately six days after beginning use.
Check with your doctor if you have any health concerns before taking Optygen HP. Also check with your doctor or pharmacist to ensure this product will not react badly with any medications you are currently prescribed. If you experience any adverse reactions, discontinue use immediately and seek advice from a doctor.
