How to Play Football Squares

  1. Get a sheet of paper and draw a large square on the paper. You can do it on poster board or a large sheet of paper to make it easier to write in the squares.

  2. Write the numbers zero through nine both on the top of the square and down the left-hand side. Zero and zero are both written in the top left-hand corner of the square, with the proceding numbers written to the right accross the top and down the left-hand side until you stop at nine.

  3. Mark the name of one team on the top of the square and the name of the other football team on the left hand side of the square.

  4. Draw grid lines between each number both vertically and horizontally. Each pair of numbers have their individual square. There should be one hundred squares in total.
