How to Replace a Clear Basketball Backboard
Use a screwdriver or whatever tool it takes to remove your existing/broken backboard. Have a family member or friend help you as they are usually quite heavy. Take the rim off first, then remove the actual backboard from the base device.
Measure the dimensions of your backboard and write them down. These dimensions will be used later to purchase a new backboard.
Go to your nearest sports store and purchase the recommended backboard, based on size and model number.
Unwrap the backboard from the packaging and begin installing the new unit to the base model you already have. Use the directions and install it using factory parts that come with the new unit.
Screw back on the basketball net.
