True Fitness makes various models of treadmills for in-home use. When you purchase your treadmill, it comes already calibrated. However, if you move your treadmill to another room, or have service performed on it, you will need to recalibrate your machine. Calibration helps ensure that the speed and incline are accurate. You can calibrate your True Fitness treadmill in a few simple steps.

Turn on the treadmill while holding the "GRADE UP" and "GRADE DOWN," buttons to enter calibration mode.

Press "SELECT" and enter the digits "01," to set max speed calibration. Press the "FAST" and "SLOW" buttons to adjust the max speed. The belt will begin calibrating. Press "START/RESET" to save the setting.

Enter speed table mode by pressing "SELECT" and entering the digits "02." Press "START/RESET" to begin calibration. The treadmill walking belt will speed up and slow down on its own. Wait for the belt to stop.

Press "SELECT" and enter the digits "03" to enter incline calibration mode. Press "GRADE UP" to set the upper incline limit. Press "START/RESET" to save the setting.
