Players to Watch

Raiders

Davante Adams: After a blockbuster trade reunited college teammates Derek Carr and Davante Adams, all eyes have been on this duo. Davante Adams has been one of the best Wide Receivers in the league for many years but many wonder if his success is due to defending MVP Aaron Rodgers. Nevertheless, he will be a huge factor of this Raiders passing attack

Darren Waller: Waller has been looking to take the title of best Tight End from a certain Chiefs player for the last two seasons. While injuries hampered that goal last season, he is looking to establish himself as the big dog in the AFC West and return to his former glory.

Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes: The most talented QB in the NFL licks his lips every time he faces off against the Raiders. He has totaled 2,546 Yards, 22 Touchdowns and only three interceptions against the black and silver brigade. The loss of Tyreek Hill may cause a dip in those numbers but Mahomes is certainly up for the challenge

George Karlaftis: The NFL's Greek Freak will get his first taste of this bitter rivalry in 2022. The Chiefs selected him with the 30th pick in the NFL draft out of Purdue University. The Chiefs hope he will be a crucial part of their defensive line.

Prediction

I think the Chiefs take both games in this series. The Chiefs are offensive juggernauts and seem to become even stronger against Las Vegas. The addition of Chandler Jones should help the Raiders defense but I haven't seen much more improvement outside of that. We will see how the Chiefs offense will function without Tyreek Hill but I think they continue the trend of putting up big numbers against the Raiders

Week 5: 40-27 Chiefs

Week 18: 35-31 Chiefs
