How to Make Slide Board Booties

    Step 1

Purchase a pair of wool socks that your size for barefoot use, or buy a larger pair that fit over your shoes. Choose hiking style socks that rise to the mid-shin region on your leg.

    Step 2

Place the socks on your feet or over your training shoes. Roll a rubber band over the foot and up to the ankle on each side. Pick a thick rubber band for durability.

    Step 3

Hold your palms against the top edge of the sock. Push your palms down the leg to roll the sock down. Stop at the ankle and repeat on the opposite leg.

    Step 4

Remove the socks from your feet in the rolled position. Continue using the socks without unrolling the material. Unroll the socks for washing purposes and repeat the process.

  • Only use wool socks or nylon cloth for the booties. Other materials stick to the board and wear quickly.
