Nordic Track C2500 Treadmill Review

The discontinued NordicTrack C2500 originally sold for $1,300, but as of August 2010 it’s available through outlets, used or refurbished for as little as $650. The C2500 has many of the features common on NordicTrack treadmills, including ifit workout card technology.

Specs

The C2500 has a longer-than-usual 20-inch wide by 60-inch long cushioned running belt, with a maximum user weight limit of 325 lbs. When not in use, the deck folds vertically against the console for storage.

Motor

The NordicTrack C2500 has a 2.5 horsepower motor with a maximum speed of 12 mph. The treadmill motor-adjusts between 0 percent and 10 percent incline. One-touch controls let you touch a single button for the speed you want, instead of pressing an Up or Down button repeatedly to scroll through speed options.

Features

The C2500 offers eight preprogrammed weight-loss workouts. With the included ifit technology, you can plug an ifit workout card directly into the treadmill console, effectively expanding its repertoire of preprogrammed workouts. Other features of note include a universal iPod dock, a competition training center that lets you race against a virtual opponent and an integrated fitness journal.
